Self-Reflection & Decision Guide
This guide exists so you don’t need to ask what to do.
Use the questions below to orient yourself, make a decision,
and observe what happens.
There are no correct answers — only patterns.
When deciding your state
- What state do I think I’m in — Green, Amber, or Red?
- What signals led me to that decision?
- If I had to explain this choice to someone else, what would I say?
- What would change if I treated today as Amber instead of Green?
After 10–15 minutes of warm-up
- Has my state changed since I started moving?
- Do I feel more open and responsive — or narrower and heavier?
- Is the urge to push coming from capacity or expectation?
If you feel tempted to push
- What am I trying to prove here?
- Would I make the same decision if no one saw this session?
- What’s the cost of being wrong today?
- What happens if I don’t push?
On Red days
- What am I protecting right now?
- What would movement give me that training wouldn’t?
- Does adding stress here expand or narrow the system?
- How long do Red days usually last when I respect them?
After the session
- How did this land in my body and nervous system?
- Do I feel more settled or more depleted?
- Did this make tomorrow feel easier or harder?
Weekly reflection
- How many Green / Amber / Red days did I have?
- Where did I override a signal, and why?
- Where did I hold back, and what happened?
- What pattern do I notice emerging?
There is no correct session.
There is only stress that fits the state — or stress that doesn’t.
